ന്യൂഡൽഹി- മുഖ്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിഷണർ ഗ്യാനേഷ് കുമാറിന്റെ രാജി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടും വോട്ടർ പട്ടിക പുതുക്കലുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലുള്ള ആശങ്കകൾ അറിയിച്ചും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യാ മുന്നണി നേതാക്കൾ രാഷ്ട്രപതി ദ്രൗപദി മുർമുവിന് നിവേദനം നൽകി. ഇന്ന് രാത്രി 8 മണിയോടെയാണ് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി, മല്ലികാർജുൻ ഖാർഗെ, തൃണമൂൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് അധ്യക്ഷ മമത ബാനർജി, സി പി ഐ എം ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി എം എ ബേബി, സി പി ഐ ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ഡി രാജ, ജമ്മു കശ്മീർ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമർ അബ്ദുള്ള, എൻ സി പി നേതാവ് സുപ്രിയ സുലെ, മനോജ് ഝാ (ആർ ജെ ഡി), ഇ.ടി. മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീർ (മുസ്‌ലിം ലീഗ്) തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രമുഖ നേതാക്കൾ രാഷ്ട്രപതിയെ കണ്ടത്.

She accepted what we said and our statement. She asked us to bring proof of election chori. I said that the proof of election chori is known to the whole country. State after state has been stolen. The 2024 election was stolen, and yet the President wants us to submit proof to her. 🔹 We will happily take all the proof we have collected to her when she is ready to accept it. 🔹I actually expected the President to deny that vote chori is taking place and say that India has a free and fair election system. പാർലമെന്റിൽ നിന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനിലേക്ക് പ്രതിപക്ഷ എംപിമാർ പ്രതിഷേധ മാർച്ച് നടത്തിയെങ്കിലും പോലീസ് വിജയ് ചൗക്കിൽ വെച്ച് മാർച്ച് തടഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് മുൻകൂട്ടി അനുമതി വാങ്ങിയിരുന്ന 10 പേർ അടങ്ങുന്ന പ്രതിനിധിസംഘം മാത്രം രാഷ്ട്രപതി ഭവനിലെത്തി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
വോട്ടർപട്ടിക പുതുക്കലിലൂടെ വലിയ രീതിയിലുള്ള ‘വോട്ട് ചോരണം’ നടക്കുന്നുവെന്നാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷം ആരോപിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം, പ്രതിപക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ആരോപണങ്ങൾക്ക് തെളിവ് ഹാജരാക്കാൻ രാഷ്ട്രപതി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതായും അത് നൽകാൻ തങ്ങൾ തയാറാണെന്നും രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
